As empty nesters, we decided to downsize after living in Los Altos Hills for over 20 years. After interviewing several realtors, David and Mike were in our top two choices. It was a 51/49% decision to go with another realtor. They were extremely professional, gracious, and ethical while we were under contract with another realtor to sell our house. Our plan was to rent a home while we looked patiently for the right next home for us. We had very specific desires and requirements. David and Mike’s deep knowledge with the real estate industry and the South Bay Area really shone. Cathy on their team was extremely responsive in helping us find a rental property. But after two weeks of looking, we unexpectedly came across our next home. David and Mike’s expertise was very apparent in the negotiation of the price, the terms and conditions, and the timing with our sale transaction. We had a couple of road bumps on the sell side, but they were superb in balancing being honest and transparent with our seller vs. over-reacting which would result in anxiety with our seller. Bottomline, we closed escrows on the sell side in the morning and the buy side in the afternoon, one day later than our original contractual date.
David and Mike were great communicators, generous with their time and extremely responsive. Thanks to Kristen, Baidra, Cathy, Laina and Victoria, they were just as responsive and helpful in every step of the process. The Troyer & Cabot Group is a well integrated execution machine, and also very pleasant to work with in a typically stressful situation. We highly recommend them.
